Theory of interest is one of my subjects (my first actuarial subject) in this semester. My lecturer is Toby White, a very experienced lecturer in this area-Financial Mathematics (FM). He also writes questions for the actuaries' professional paper--FM.
He always comes into the lecture hall with a very professional looking- wearing a tie and dressing up formally and he's always punctual. Needless to say, Americans speak fast, it's the same way as how Chinese speak mandarin =) While listening to American English which I have to pay very much attention to, I have to jolt down calculations and notes on the whiteboard at the same time with rocket speed. Haha, sometimes when I'm trying to think and relate what he is writing on the board, I will lose track. So, during his class, the feel is like riding roller coaster~~wow, it's so qigik man~~every second u have to stay focused. But, if you can get what he wants to say, you will feel that financial mathematics is very fun!
So ya, that means I have to work harder! =)
Just now when I was going to start on my theory of interest homework, without realising-it works subconsciously, I spoke to myself: zhangliping, jiayou jiayou jiayou~~~This happened during SAM; I remembered I did that when solving Specialist Mathematics. It comes round the circle and back to me again. It's just fine, I just gonna work harder and I will never give up in Maths!!
haha..so, I am writing this post because of the 'spoke to myself' incident =p
So,
JIAYOU JIAYOU JIAYOU!!!
HAHA..
I JUST GONNA WORK HARDER :P
I CAN DE O^^
Maths is my good fren =)
ok, back to maths!
